Meet Del Peeples 

Delray “Del” Peeples (he/him/his) is a seasoned HR practitioner and executive with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in human resource management across a broad number of sectors and industries including consumer products, giftware, electronics, robotics, lifestyle, luxury travel and publishing.

In 1997, he began his journey in the realm of business administration and human resource management, assuming the role of an Executive Assistant and Office Manager, and subsequently, taking on the role of a one-man HR department within a prominent manufacturer and distributor specializing in robotics, healthcare devices, and motion furniture. Over the ensuing two decades, his unwavering dedication to the harmonious equilibrium between human capital and organizational demands propelled him along a distinguished career trajectory, marked by ascent into managerial positions of growing complexity. This ascent culminated in roles bearing titles of increasing prestige, including Manager, Director, Vice President, and ultimately Chief of Staff. In 2018, he succumbed to the entrepreneurial spirit and formed DP Human Capital Management LLC, to empower countless business owners and catalyze positive transformations in the field of human resource management.  

The companies he has helped all share the singular trait of having small to mid-size employee populations, but otherwise span a broad range of characteristics:

  • family-owned entrepreneurial start-ups to well-established multi-generational firms;
  • privately-held domestic entities to US subsidiaries of international enterprises;
  • small offices with just a few employees to substantially larger distribution and warehouse environments employing hundreds.

More importantly, they also share a common need for an HR infrastructure built upon well-defined and communicated policies and procedures, and sound employment practices which align a company’s human capital to its vision, mission and profitability objectives.

Del understands that human resource management cannot exist in a bubble. It must be fully integrated into all aspects of a company’s operations. In addition to HR expertise, he brings to the table a robust skill set which includes experience in family office operations, facilities and estate management, corporate legal matters, accounting & finance, bookkeeping, intellectual property handling, Ultra High Net Worth lifestyle management, and office technology management.

An Army brat born in the former West Germany, Del’s life travels have taken him from his home town in West Texas to destinations and experiences around the world. He is a United States Air Force veteran and recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal. He is also recipient of a Presidential Service Citation for service rendered while assigned to The White House Communications Agency. He currently resides in Southern California and in his spare time he enjoys travel, working out and classical music.

Del’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Theory and Composition and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Board Member of the Coachella Valley chapter of Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA). He also has attained SHRM-CP certification.
